NOVUS FOUNDATION GALA DINNER

The Novus Foundation was formed in 2006, a collaboration between the Rotary Club of Wahroonga, The San Foundation and The McCarroll Automotive Group.  These organisations originally came together with the intention of developing and supporting projects directed at the welfare of youth in the District of Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai.

Since then the Novus Foundation has raised over $1.25 million for a variety of different organisations that are investing in our youth.  In creating the Novus Foundation, the board has determined that it will concentrate on matters which impact young people and their ability to perform to their natural level of capability. By doing this, we want to ensure that the next generation of young adults can take their place in society using their technical and leadership skills to the full, not limited by ill health, lack of training or shortage of opportunity.

In 2017, StreetWork will be one of the beneficiaries of the money raised at the Novus Foundation Gala Dinner.  To book tickets, donate items or for sponsorship opportunities go to www.novusfoundation.org.au

ENTERTAINER

The Sensational Karise Eden winner of The Voice (season 1)

Karise Eden, winner of The Voice (2012) heads up our entertainment.  Karise appeared on the show's first episode and went on to win the hearts of millions with her powerful Janis Joplin-style vocals and emotionally charged heartfelt performances. She entered the Aria singles chart in June 2012, with four songs in the top five; the first artist to do so since the Beatles in 1964. Karise’s well chronicled struggles during her teen years make her a natural choice for Streetwork. Click here to view Karise's blind audition performance on The Voice.

“I will never forget when she came on and she sang Hallelujah, it was over and everyone knew it. There were some great singers in that studio, but as great as they were they knew they couldn’t compete with that.  It was just raw, unadulterated soul.”  Seal, Voice Judge (2012)

MASTER OF CEREMONY

James Mathison

We're delighted to have James join us as MC from host of Australian Idol and the ARIA Music Awards, Celebrity Apprentice Australia, morning TV and most recently a candidate in the Federal Election. He's a local boy, famous for his quick wit, charm and dedication to social causes and a great fit for StreetWork.

For more information about attending, sponsorship opportunities, volunteering or donating items for the live and silent auctions, please email events@streetwork.org.au or call 9419 7559 and ask for a member of the Events Team.  Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsorship packages are available.
