Will bequests

You can make a difference to young lives by including StreetWork in your Will. This is called a bequest and it's the easiest way to help without impacting your immediate finances.

If you die without a Will, the Government will decide how your Estate is distributed according to a set formula, which may not reflect your wishes.

There are a number of ways you can leave us with a bequest.

  • Specific, is a specified gift which can be money, property, stock or shares.
  • Residual, the remainder of your Estate once your family members have been provided for.
  • Percentage or fractional, is a bequest expressed as a percentage or fraction of your estate.
  • Whole Estate is a bequest comprising the entire Estate usually left by those wanting to achieve something significant.
  • Life insurance is giving all, or part of, your policy.

How to leave a bequest

You can use the following wording to describe the type of bequest you would like to make in your Will.

"I leave to StreetWork, PO Box 5601, Chatswood, NSW 1515, for its general purposes for receipt of its Treasurer or other proper officer, shall be sufficient discharge to my Executors."

Amending an existing will

If you already have a Will but would like to include StreetWork, you can make an amendment called a Codicil.

For a Codicil form, or more information about this, please complete the details below and submit to us.
